Fleeing became her way of life. Tired of waiting, she bought a strange form of hope that belonged to her by right. She was strong and young, full of vitality and hours of sleep that her diary never mentioned.

She would embrace him; she would show him her new house, her new things bought with whatever remained of the life she had left.

She would no longer be young, nor would she have hours of sleep to spare. Her diary was exhausted, right now when she would have so much to rewrite, so much to develop between those white lines she once wrote in desolation.
